- October, 2022There are two species of gorillas in the African wild, each with two subspecies. These apes are considered the largest primates on our planet. The weight of an adult male is on average 150 kg, with a height of about 170 cm, but sometimes up to 2 m are found. Females are almost half the size and lighter. The gorilla's physique is massive, with highly developed muscles and incredible strength.
