- October, 2022In the past I worked with a Wildlife Rehabilitator. There was an amazing array of wild animals to be taken care of. One thing I learned was that once you have the trust of a wild animal you have it forever. They become openly affectionate and remember you always - it doesn't matter how much time has passed. The animals are so pure. There was one deer who was zonked out sleeping at night while I was there talking to the prairie dogs. Turning away from them There she was ~ she jumped up on me just like a dog excited to see someone putting her hooves on either shoulder and licking my face with kisses so excited she was to see me.
