- October, 2022How beautiful that they come immediately to show their human family their new babies, you must all be SO proud. This is true conservation, and I am so proud to support them. I have especially chosen some older females to adopt, who I hope will one day have wild born calves of their own. Happy for Wendi and the herd. It's amazing every calf born to an ex-orphan has given birth at or near the compound and introduced to the keepers.
