This wild horse who had gotten stuck had given up all hope of being free again, but then a miracle happened. Wild horses can be somewhat of a rare occurrence depending on where you live. In the United Kingdom, they are only found in a few places around the country. One of these places is around the Loughor Estuary in Gower in the south of Wales. And it was here that one unlucky mare found herself in a tricky situation. When a wild horse got her foot trapped in her own mane, kind volunteers stepped up to help free her. Such a touching story, horses are a lot more intelligent then people take them for being. The MARE (mayor on the auto feed) must have been there quite some time and her leg weak from struggling. I grew up with such a little mare, she was deeply loved and she cared a great deal for me, when my parent was gone I brought her into the house with me, she never soiled the floor. In the old days it was a hanging offence to steal a horse, they were the best friend of many travelers.
